Day 241 of 365: Home Sweet Home

I went to get my hair cut/colored today (looks fabu!) and stopped by the house afterwards. Mom had made my favorite macaroni and cheese for lunch! I wasn't expecting lunch but it was quite welcome. Mmmmmm.

On the way home, I got stopped by a cop (speeding! Oooops!) and I totally forgot to get a picture!! I keep envisioning a picture of the lights in my rear view mirror (after we're stopped of course! Not that I'd be evading police to take a photo!) Oh well.. next time?? Oh, and he let me off with a warning! PHEW!!! I fessed up that I knew I was speeding and going about 50-55. I honestly thought it was a 45 zone. Apparently that stretch of road is 35. Eeps. Now I know!

Day 236 of 365: Good actual morning!

Now that Spring is here and the days are getting longer, this is the light I see coming through my window at 6:15 in the morning. I love this curtain since it diffuses the light just right. Not a bad way to wake up (though I'd rather not have to get up and get ready for work!!)

Day 228 of 365: Evening light

It's been such lovely weather that I've been able to turn off the air conditioning and open up the windows and balcony door. It looked a little darker, but my camera really came through and captured the remaining light of the evening!

day 222 of 365: Piles (sort of like Holes??)

Combination of laundry that was air drying and clothes I've worn recently. It just piles us after a few days when I get lazy about putting it away! I never learn that it would just be easier to put it up each day instead!

Day 211 of 365: Light through my window

This photo was kind of rushed since I was actually walking out the door to work right then. However this is the early morning sunlight streaming through my living room windows. It makes me happy to have sunshine! Oh, and the photo is not out of focus, that's just the way the blinds are reflecting on the wall. Bring on the nice weather!!

Day 196 of 365: Zen perfection?

Yes, I think a clean kitchen (especially the next morning!!) is as close to zen perfection as I can get these days! *sigh* :)

Day 173 of 365: Se habla espanol?

Honestly, I didn't fly to Mexico for the day or anything. This is one of many signs along Jimmy Carter Blvd a few miles from my parents' house where I grew up. Pretty much the whole area there is Hispanic so of course, the businesses are catering to the clientele! If you go a few miles more then turn left, it all turns to Vietnamese instead. There are some really good noodle places around there!

Day 155 of 365: There's no place like home

Some days, you just want to get home. These long nights kill me sometimes, especially when there are several in a row. I stopped here at the gas station on the way home from the running shop since the light had come on for low gas level! Plus, prices have been steadily increasing again. I wanted to get filled up before it shot up. Of course, afterwards I got caught at the red light waiting to turn left. I wanted to get out and push the other cars out of my way! Fortunately, a few minutes later, I was finally walking in the door to home.

Day 77 of 365: Lust

Yes, I know what you're thinking.. lust/bed- way too easy, right? But ah! You'd be wrong! This isn't about the bed. It's about my lovely electric blanket you see on top there. To the right is the controller, by the way. I have never been so happy about getting into bed as when I've got the blanket on the bed! It was a Christmas present last year from my parents. Best.present.ever! Saves me tons on heating bills (yay!) and is soooooooo comfy! As soon as I have the motivation, I will actually put it under my duvet and on top of the sheet. Works better that way. :)

Oh, and yes I'm a lotion freak! I don't know why, but I just love having many different varieties! There's even one there from London this summer. :)

Just been that kind of WEEK!
