Day 221 of 365: Meet John Caleb

I got to hold the baby!! This is John Caleb, my friend Ashley's (first) baby! He is soooooo sweet. He didn't cry at all the whole time I was there- until the last 5 minutes when I passed him back to mama to take this photo!!! D'oh! In the end, I think this shot is very sweet. Ashley is a natural mother! And she's totally back in pre-pregnancy shape only 7 weeks after giving birth!

Day 214 of 365: Bebecita!

I went to my friend Lina's baby shower this afternoon. This is a closeup of her cute, cute cake! :)
She's got 2 little boys and now is finally having a girl!

In addition to having fun at the shower for her, I got to see some former colleagues from my old, old school- Pebblebrook! I hadn't seen Carol or MaryAnn in 4 years since I'd left! No one had changed. In addition, I got to see Pilar and Lina (and their respective little boys) for the first time in 2 years! Yoiks! How did time pass so quickly??? All in all it was a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon/evening.

Day 64 of 365: Awww! How cute!!

I bought these today for the baby. The colorful bits are hand crocheted onto the socks. I'll be working on getting some other stuff before I go up there on Friday. I love baby stuff!! :)
